Work Schedule: Sunday and Monday (3:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m.); Tuesday and Wednesday (12:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m.); Thursday and Friday (Off); Saturday (8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.)

This position is eligible for overtime.

DUTIES:  The telephone Reporting Unit (TRU) Clerk writes police reports from information received from citizens in person or by phone and maintains files of departmental records including police reports, computer records and other documents.  The TRU Clerk greets individuals on the phone and in person to respond to numerous inquires and requests, may process fingerprints, performs a variety of clerical inquiries and requests, may process fingerprints, performs a variety of clerical and administrative tasks for the department and performs other related duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:  High school diploma or GED and 12-18 months of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
