ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
The Combination Technical Inspector conducts building inspections (commercial and residential), records and documents all inspections, and provides information and assistance to the public, contractors or other employees. The Combination Technical Inspector is also responsible for inspections that may be general in nature or limited to specific areas, such as HVAC, Plumbing and Electrical and is responsible for the notification of possible condemnation of all commercial property. The Combination Technical Inspector is on call 24 hours per day 7 days per week and performs other duties required or assigned.

ACCEPTABLE EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING:
Bachelors degree from a four year college or university and 5 years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience and a minimum of 1-6 months of management experience.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
Must have valid driver’s license and must obtain certifications within one year of employment.
