The Pine Bluff/Jefferson County Clean & Beautiful Commission,
Pine Bluff City Recycling and Jefferson County Recycling will host the
bi-annual
Electronic Recycling Event.
Residents and Businesses in Pine Bluff and Jefferson County will once again be able to dispose of
their old Computers, TV’s, VCR’s, Cell Phones, Digital Cameras, GPS units at one location.
Drop off location is the City Recycling Center
16th and Pennsylvania.
Hours are 9:00 am to 1:00 pm.
| E-Recycling Facts Recycling electronics allow their precious metals, glass, steel and plastics to be used again. Disposing of electronics is hazardous to the environment as toxic materials such as lead and mer-cury enter landfills around our communities, contaminating ground waters. It takes less energy to make recycled products from used electronics than new products. Storage devices will be destroyed through electronically wiping or physically destroying the de-vice. |
